Satiereal Saffron Extract - All Hype Or The Real Deal?

If you have been watching one of Dr. Oz's show recently, you may already have heard about satiereal saffron extract. Saffron extract comes from a plant known as Crocus sativus and it is commonly used as a spice. Dr. Oz has stated in his show that taking this supplement can help curb appetite, reduce snacking, improve overall mood, and ultimately promote weight loss and a healthier lifestyle.

In one episode of the Dr. Oz Show, there was an emphasis placed on emotional eating and how it can affect your eating habits. The women took satiereal saffron extract for a period of 4 weeks and the result was a significant reduction of their snacking activities by as much as 51%. Besides this, they also claimed to have a longer feeling of fullness and that the weight they lost amounted to 8 pounds in total.

What really makes satiereal effective in promoting weight loss is its ability to increase your serotonin levels. Serotonin is a hormone produced in the brain and is responsible for controlling mood and personality. Whenever you have more of this hormone, you are likely to feel better about yourself and you will be able to reduce your cravings for food. It can also help you to make smarter food choices.

Research was also conducted on satiereal saffron extract and it was revealed that it could control the physiological factors of eating sensations and in the process minimize snacking habits significantly. Most binge eaters react to boredom, anxiety, frustration, or stress and saffron becomes an ideal solution by altering the behavior of a person through the increase of serotonin.

With so many saffron supplements to choose from, you have to be careful about the product you intend to purchase. First and foremost, make sure that you buy supplements that have been manufactured by well-known brands or companies. If they are already in the business for many years, then somehow you can be assured that they know what they're doing. As for the product itself, make sure that it comes from pure saffron extract and is free from fillers or binders.

Another thing you must verify is if the product is made from real saffron, specifically from the flower of the Crocus sativus plant. A quality satiereal saffron extract is also one that has been manufactured in an FDA-registered laboratory and conforms to the guidelines set by the FDA's GMP program.
